However, when many people think of leadership development, they often think purely of training. We view leadership development as having a much broader scope than simply training, and we see it as being best facilitated by initiatives that begin with validated leadership assessment instruments (including 360-feedback).
Although training is key to developing or enhancing leadership skill sets and competencies, we believe that training in problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution is most effective when it's reinforced with coaching, cross-training, action learning, rotational or international assignments, and other development initiatives.
