Megan is an accomplished consultant, facilitator, and educator with over 15 years in leadership development, innovation, and change management. Her most valuable assets include strategic thinking, systemic innovation, creative problem solving, team/leadership development, and facilitation and design. She is passionate about helping individual leaders and organizations bring about positive change.
Megan began her career in marketing and sales, working for Warner Lambert, where she won several awards for her sales performance. Leveraging her expertise in these functional areas, Megan was promoted to a leadership role with Pfizer Consumer Healthcare as Manager, Innovation & Leadership Development. She progressed to the Director of Leadership Development & Innovation when Johnson & Johnson purchased Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. A strong facilitator and designer, Megan has led innovation teams tasked with critical business opportunities, and helped one of them to win the National Quality Institute Award for a Healthy Workplace and another to save over $1 million in 8 months. Megan also provides one-on-one coaching to individuals regarding innovation practices, approaches, and methods.
As a published author, Megan has delivered sessions to the World Future Society on enhancing creativity. She also serves as the Program Director for the Centre of Excellence in Innovation Management at the Schulich School of Business, which in global rankings, is recognized as one of the world's leading business schools. Megan is a contributing author to Orchestrating Innovation: Moving Beyond the Hype, scheduled for publication in Fall of 2013.
Megan earned a B.A. in Honors Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business and has a second B.A. in French from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. Additionally, she holds a Masters Certificate in Innovation Management from the Schulich Executive Centre at York University, Toronto, Canada.
Megan is certified in DISC, Situational Leadership II, Creative Problem Solving, Thinkx Productive Thinking and FourSight (Creative Thinking Styles). She is also a Professional Learning Executive with certifications in Learning Strategy, Needs Analysis, Design, and Instructional Tools and Techniques.
