Andreahas over 30 years experience in leadership development, change management, human resources development and training. Prior to starting Strategic Leadership Resources LLC, she was Senior Vice President of Pulvermacher Firth, Vice President of Hudson Talent Management, President of Andrea Zintz and Associates LLC, and co-founder of the Center for Inquiring Leadership, a training company for leadership effectiveness. In these roles, she designed and executed landmark work in the development of internal coaches within major companies.
Andrea gained significant experience while leading executive leadership development for North America from J&J's corporate headquarters and continued to cultivate her experience as an executive coach. As Vice President of Human Resources, and while serving as a management Board member of Johnson & Johnson Ortho Biotech, she helped lead the growth of that company from $40 million to $500 million in a 6-year period. This was accomplished primarily through the launch of 2 breakthrough biotech products that lead the market today.
During Andrea's tenure at J&J, she was highly awarded for her work in cultural, HR and leadership development, where her special interests included executive women advancement, diversity, and mentoring. She was trained as a Six Sigma Black Belt, as part of the J&J Process Excellence effort, and was also an examiner and team leader for the Competitive Assessment Process at J&J. Additionally, Andrea was the recipient of the YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry Award.
Subsequent to her work at J&J, Andrea has significantly enhanced the development of executives and hi-potential leaders within the diversified healthcare and pharmaceutical, defense, and retail industries. Her current areas of specialty are change management; executive and high potential leadership development, succession planning, team development, and mentoring programs. Andrea currently works with senior leaders and leadership teams in business units of Fortune 500 corporations, to develop high potential and senior leaders through team alignment/development strategies and coaching. Her strategic focus in this work is the development of a strong leadership pipeline, and she has significant expertise in training Human Resources professionals and line leaders to coach, teach and mentor others. She is a member of the National OD Network.
Andrea holds an MA in Human and Organization Development and a PhD in Human and Organization Systems from the Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA.
